Keynote 1: SMART HEALTH HOME: Technology Adoption and Social Impact
Dr Vladimir Brusić, University of Nottingham Ningbo China

Abstract: Smart health homes (SHHs) integrate wearable sensors and various interconnected devices using the Internet of Things (IoT) and Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) technologies. Building SHH requires integration of IoT, IoMT, wearable technologies, and home healthcare, with normative (legal, regulatory, and ethical) compliance, and socioeconomics requirements. Most of IoT, IoMT, technical and device standards are available for guiding SHH design and implementation. Medical aspects of SHH are relatively well developed, while normative standards are largely lacking. The main challenges for SHH implementation include privacy, safety, usability, and normative compliance. Current barriers to adoption of SHH are mainly due to normative and socioeconomic factors, less so due to technological and medical factors.

Keynote 2: Modern Web Technologies and Marketing – Possibility and Challenges
Dr Filip Jovanović, Fakultet za inovacioni i projektni menadžment

Abstract: The intersection of modern web technologies and marketing presents both immense possibilities and notable challenges. With the advent of advanced tools such as AI-driven analytics, personalized content delivery, and immersive experiences like augmented reality, businesses can tailor their marketing strategies with unprecedented precision, enhancing customer engagement and driving conversions. However, navigating the rapidly evolving landscape of web technologies demands continuous adaptation to new platforms, algorithms, and consumer behaviors, while also addressing concerns surrounding data privacy, cybersecurity, and algorithmic biases.
